The Prologue

The sound of  hurried footsteps echoed through the empty chambers as two men dressed in an elegant uniform rushed over to the another covered in blood, laying on the ground possibly dead , his entirely white cloak was now mostly red. The room scattered with various materials and blood.

"Sir Redford !" the uniformed man held Sir Arthur, he still had a pulse,"James, we don't have time for this.We need to get out of here immediately, the Door is gonna burst open, anytime soon." said the other one.
"He still has a pulse, we can't leave him alone,Tim." replied James, Tim grunted and went over to James to lift him up.

The jerking somehow awoke Sir Redford, a look of shock on his face. Recognizing the two Guardsmen, he mustered as much strength as he could and slowly whispered, "Please, Tim, James there are two still left, I tried to save them but the Beasts were too many, I tried to kill as many as I could. Please I'm begging you save our Hopes. Don't let anyone know." Sir Redford pointed to the two cylindrical containers filled with a green gel. Focusing on it Tim recognized the shape of two infants, one inside each.
"Sir  Redford what are they ? " asked Tim, but the Sir Redford's hand fell, while his body grew cold.

As such the Brilliant Mage, Sir Arthur Leonardo Redford had passed away.

James and Tim both their faces had hardened. "We need to hurry, James"  Tim abruptly stopped as James placed the man's body gently on the floor.

"Let's go" James wiped his face on his sleeve, tears had mixed with his sweat making it indistinguishable and hard to see. Both of them carefully picked up a container each and made a run for it.

The following rooms were filled with the carcasses of the Beasts and humans, each floor filled with  blood. It was a nightmare for them both.

The Beasts they came across were weaker ones, easily dispatched by either Tim or James.
Soon enough they were outside the Facility. A cart waiting for them tied to their horses.

"Let's never come back here." Tim suggested as he gave James the other container. James nodded with a weak "Yeah" following it.

He sat at the back of the cart taking acre of the two containers as Tim made the horses sprint like the wind itself wondering what else had Sir Redford had been doing in the facility along with keeping an eye on the portal.

In the end, he was just a simple Guardsman it wasn't his job to know of such things yet he had to admit these infants might just be the strangest thing in that Facility itself.

"Hey James ?" Tim asked "What should we do now ?" "I'm gonna follow Sir Redford's orders. If these are real infants. I'm gonna go back to my hometown and raise them."

"But aren't you unmarried ? For Lohain's sake you don't even have a lover " Tim questioned followed by James stubborn response "I can raise them just fine. You don't always need a woman to raise a child." he looked at the containers. "Especially boys."

"Tell you what ?" Tim proposed the horses still running in the nigh endless desert.
"Me and Sheila can take one in. No wonder she would be overjoyed, we had been trying for a kid for the last few years, but nothing really happened and raising two could be a bit troublesome for an older bone as me."

It made sense thinking about it so he nodded, just as the entire facility erupted in a massive fiery explosion as an incredibly hot wind blew up the sand around them.

"We need to hurry and find a rock, a sandstorm is gonna come our way" said Tim as he made the horses gallop to the nearest rock available.

"This is gonna be tough" screamed Tim as he covered the back of the cart with a blanket putting himself and James underneath it.

Tying a wet cloth around their faces. "What about the horses ?" asked James
"Don't worry I have already put a wet cloth on their muzzles." replied Tim as the sky above them grew dark and windy as the sandstorm swallowed everything up.
